I'm not dead! And neither are my legacies, (even though I can't stop creating sims for some reason and can't get started on a legacy). However! I think I found a winner!

I wont lie, it's hard for me to make my update because I can't figure out how to edit my pictures to look nice! The action I was going to use involves changing the opacity of a layer, which apparently CS5 doesn't want to put into the action itself...
Anyone care to share their secrets with me? :)
On a side note, in sims 3, does anyone elses game crash when they try to take a picture with 'c'? I can't use Gadwin as it just takes black screens, and I tried running the game in windowed mode, but even with my ASUS G73 it's slow and choppy and distorted as poop! I believe last time I tried i resorted to the in game camera, which wasn't so bad. But now my game crashes when I press 'c'? Any thoughts?

Well it appears the hard drive on my old computer was fried :( they're stil working it, but my computer officially had no sims on it! So, of course, I had to start a new legacy! :)
So the new legacy has been! The Reed Legacy! I'm giving you a little preview of the founder because she so darn cute. :) Update within the week!

Well it's been a while, and I'm laptop has been being fixed for more than a few months, which means I get a brand new laptop (courtesy of them) and I get to start simming again! Hopefully it's supposed to arrive tonight, but with their reliability, who knows.
Unfortunatley, the back up of the harddrive they have is corrupted, (another excuse of theirs?), so the parkers may be lost.. :(
In the event, you know I will be coming out with new legacies! I'm not a big fan of the sims 3, but I might put my game to use along with the sims 2.

Well, it was time for a long overdue update of the Parkers!

and very very happen!
I got my new laptop which is absolutely amazing!
I've been playing sims 3 non-stop lol, it's so addicting.
However I don't think anything will replace sims 2.
I was having major issues getting sims 2 to work on my computer,
something about Directx 0.9c and graphics adapters lol.
Anyways it's all fixed up and I'm just finishing install all the stuff packs,
but all my friends were like you have sims 3 why do you need sims 2?
Well. duh. The gameplay is completely different! lol
Anywho, I'm alive and as soon as these are installed there will be updates! :)

WELL.
I'm unbelievably excited for sims 3!(Despite the negative comments at the thread I've been stalking on MATY.)
I've come to the conclusion all the people actually having fun playing the game must be too busy playing to worry about sharing. Which is ofcourse understandable.
I'm getting my grad present (aka: a flashy new laptop!) early! It'll be here before Sims 3 comes out.

Playing Sims 2 a little bit, mostly just stalking that thread, stalking the game in general, and backing up all my Sims 2 things on my external hard drive.
So. Either way the next few weeks are going to be VERY excited!
Apologies for the absence the past few weeks. Life's been a mess.
But everything's falling into order :)
Including my bedroom... ;)
SO Anyone else have any thoughts on this Sims 3 business?
